Surah Al Falaq

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

1. قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ

   Qul a‘ūżu birabbil-falaq(i).

   Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak

2. مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ

   Min syarri mā khalaq(a).

   from the evil of whatever He has created,

3. وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ

   Wa min syarri gāsiqin iżā waqab(a).

   and from the evil of the night when it grows dark,

4. وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِۙ

   Wa min syarrin-naffāṡāti fil-‘uqad(i).

   and from the evil of those ˹witches casting spells by˺ blowing onto knots,

5. وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ ࣖ

   Wa min syarri ḥāsidin iżā ḥasad(a).

   and from the evil of an envier when they envy.”
